The gin is the first distilled at The Port of Leith Distillery Co. and uses seven curated botanicals and a zesty, refreshing lime flavor. Lind & Lime Gin is a Scottish gin produced by The Port of Leith Distillery at our Tower Street Stillhouse in Leith, Edinburgh. Our watchword in the creation of Lind & Lime was ‘Balance’. It was James Lind, who was from Edinburgh and during his time as a Navy surgeon in the 1700’s, discovered that lime juice prevented scurvy amongst the sailors. Lind and Lime Gin Lind & Lime Gin is the very first spirit produced by The Port of Leith Distillery Co at our Tower Street Stillhouse. It’s still a couple of years before we’ll be distilling whisky, so we’ve thrown our full and unbridled energy into creating a gin forged entirely from the talent, heritage and industry of Edinburgh and its historic distilling district of Leith.
